5th generation family farm headquartered in Harrisburg, OR is seeking a Farm Foreman to help manage the day-to-day operations of their 3,000 acre grass seed farm.

Responsibilities include:

• Groundwork, field preparation for planting

• Fertilizer and Pesticide Application

• Equipment Maintenance and Repairs

• Harvest Crew Manager

• Truck Driver

The job requires a range of work, so the ideal candidate would be well rounded and have a strong work ethic. The farm operates Monday thru Friday with seasonal Sunday work such as fertilizing, harvest and field work, all of course weather dependent.

Preferred/required skills include:

• Grass Seed Farm Experience

• Pesticide Applicator License

• CDL/Farm Endorsement for Truck Driving

• Agronomic Background

• Mechanic Background

• Good communicator especially during stressful/intense times

• Self-starter and planner
